5-Ways Blogging Has Changed My Life!
Blogging has influenced my life in many manners. The day when I signed up on WordPress, I did not expect my Blog to become what it is now. It was all casual, and I was taking it lightly. Unlike my all other hobbies I persisted this one and soon after that it became a passion, and now my life revolves around Monk For Life. It is like a baby to me, and I am very possessive about it. I always try to make it look good and clean and polish it regularly.
Blogging is not only about writing articles it has introduced me to numerous new topics like SEO that are exciting and fun to learn. Since I have started blogging now, I understand the internet much better than I ever did. It is full of competition, and I respect each and every blogger who writes and want his/her words to be read.
Now I do not just learn new things but also stream them to other people. Blogging is a platform which has given me an opportunity to reach out to people, talk to them and solve their problems.
There have been many changes in my life since I started blogging, but all these changes happened effortlessly and casually. I did not dwell on them or made a plan for them.
Blogging Has Made Me Busy
There was a time when I would watch movies and TV series all the time, would listen to random songs and watch funny videos on YouTube. And now I do not have the time even to think about these activities because now either I am writing a post or reading a book. Blogging has occupied all of my time for better. Now, I dedicate a lot of my free time in thinking about new topics and ideas about my next blog post. It feels good to stay busy and productive all the time.
When you are busy throughout the day, you feel satisfied and relax at night and fall asleep quickly. Being busy teaches you the value of the time. It feels very calming after publishing an article on my blog or submitting a guest post to other blogs.
Blogging Has Expanded My Mind
I have been a voracious reader, and I always seek for knowledge and inspiration. This new hobby of mine has expanded my mind in a way that only a blogger can understand. Blogging has transformed me into someone who is energetic, curious and ambitious. I have achieved all these qualities without sacrificing or learning anything with conscious effort. It has drastically improved my thinking as it takes tons of thinking and recalling of events to write a single blog post. The nutrition of mind is knowledge. The more knowledge you feed it, the better it grows. The mind has enormous potential to accept and learn new things.
In the process of starting a blog and presenting my readers fresh content, I have learned a lot of things. Now, I see things through readers’ mind and try to write the best quality content on my blog. It has made me empathetic and now I have an insight into the mind of readers.
Blogging Has Made Me Ambitious
It has been only a few months since I have started my blog, but I have huge plans for it. It is getting little traffic, but that does not stop me from planning big and working on it for the success of my blog. I have a clear vision and a way for my blog, and I am very sincere about it. Before all this my goals and ambitions would change frequently, but now I have a clear aim to achieve shortly. Being ambitious makes you self-inspiring. My aspirations motivate you to take actions and keep you focused.
Blogging has changed my attitude towards success there was a time when I would get satisfied with small accomplishments, but now I crave for more and more. Now, I do not settle quickly.
Blogging Has Improved My Writing Skills
For obvious reasons, blogging has drastically improved my writing skills and capacity. The more you write, the better you get. Writing is like any other exercise, and I am getting better at it. Just read my first blog post and the last one you will see a clear difference in every aspect of writing. Although, I have a long way to go I am in a comfortable situation, and I post as much as I can every week. Skills are improved through widespread practice and efforts, but this time my writing has improved almost effortlessly, just a few days ago I have noticed this change.
Blogging requires a clean and crisp writing skills. And I have noticed this that I am going towards that quality of writing at a high pace and will achieve a good style of writing soon.
Blogging Has Made Me Disciplined
All the bloggers have to be disciplined all the time. We cannot ignore our blog for even a single day. It is the major part of our life and personality. Bloggers always try to be consistent and post content regularly. So, being discipline is important when you run a blog. This training comes from the heart and not by strictness because at the end of the day we work for ourselves, we are our boss. Blogging has to help me beat procrastination and be effective and efficient.
Since I am in love with blogging, I do not procrastinate writing and try to finish as much work as I can in less time. Procrastination is not in my personality now.
All these changes have helped me in other areas of my life, and I have stopped wasting my time in watching non-sense TV series and movies. Due to limited time, I only watch selected movies and avoid wasting my time.
Blogging has given me a sharp rise in the level of my confidence; now I feel worthy of something. It has groomed my personality and made a better version of my life. In the beginning, I could not imagine that this very hobby of mind will have a such a huge influence on my overall life.
And hey, the game has just begun.
